The ASD Ballroom certification program stands out by combining diverse therapeutic techniques with dance expertise. We focus on understanding individual needs and teaching skills that extend beyond the dance floor, ensuring a truly comprehensive approach.
Our unique approach
Our certification combines techniques used in various therapies, including ABA, occupational therapy, and play therapy. We integrate basic psychology understanding and studies, along with teaching strategies that merge dance knowledge with a holistic approach to understanding individual needs and teaching skills beyond the dance floor.
Certification options - all revenue from certification fees go directly into our program to support its mission, operations and programs.
Level 1 Certification - $1499
Enables you to work with the special needs community, armed with knowledge and tools to facilitate teaching. This opens doors to a new community of dancers, under supervision/guidance from ASD Ballroom's fully certified team member.
Level 2 Teacher/Trainer Certification - $1499
Allows you to start your own practice with access to an already developed syllabus and step-by-step guidelines for the special needs community.
